Cherokee Ranch and Castle in Sedalia, CO
Though Tweet Kimball was a big Republican and I believe Ronald Reagan stayed here (or she stayed at the Reagan White House) it's still a very nice place to visit and have tea (they have afternoon teas open to the public and tours). It is also a working ranch, still, even though Tweet died 10 years ago. She was noted for bringing Santa Gertrudis cattle from Texas to Colorado, and raising prized bulls. Her favorite bull is buried here and there is a monument to him.
While sitting on the veranda you can hear cattle mooing on the property.
