Felix & Dmitri, the Beaver Reporter’s only progeny.
Midway through the solemn obituary of Dick Beaver of Beavertown, Jim says something that sends Chris over the edge. You'll hear the steam building, a huge wheezing noise, and Chris having to put some space between him & the microphone.
When he does this, I forgive him all his toolish tendencies...
Thanks to ShaneO for finding the episode "More Blessed to Give", here's the infamous "I hope you weren't too hard on the Beaver" with the scene introduction and Ward's response.
I figured I’d post this appalling 1988 shot of me in slutty Chanel ultra-red lipstick & my TeeVee eyelashes to make Steph feel better about the Wolf-girl pic from her 70s yearbook.
Pre-digital amateur photography was hard on a girl!
How adorable is this baby beaver?!!!!
The person who found this baby Beaver saw his mother struck and killed by a jet ski.
The Beaver came to PAWS last summer weighing only one pound.
Seattle people love their wildlife and thanks to folks at PAWS, here are some snaps of the cutest wildlife babies to come from the Seattle area into their rehabilitation program. Every year PAWS takes care of hundreds of orphaned wild babies. Once they are old and strong enough to survive on their own, PAWS returns them to the wild where they belong. If you find a baby wild animal you think is injured or orphaned, follow these tips. All photos courtesy of PAWS.

I had the chance to view a private antique radio collection with some nice pieces from the 10's up through the 30's. One particular radio caught my eye. Unfortunately, I'm sure they aren't in business any more.
Like Mama said when she did this one Wednesday, in this matchup, my money's on the beaver

That's it, beaver. Game on.
Critter outwits county maintenance crews
"Instead of trapping it, killing it, or anything else some of the public wants us to do, we thought we could outsmart it," Short said. The Maryland Department of Natural Resources "suggested we trap the beaver and relocate it. We didn't want to give up. It's getting personal now."
Instead, DNR biologists offered construction plans for the Clemson beaver pond leveler, more affectionately known as the Beaver Baffle System.
Designed by professors at Clemson University, the baffle system consists of a PVC pipe running beneath the surface of the water and a big chain-link cage. The cage prevents the beaver from accessing the PVC pipe when the water is low, and the PVC pipe ferries water beneath the bridge even when the beaver has dammed up the stream.
And since the beaver can't hear running water because the pipe is submerged, the baffler is supposed to suppress the beaver's instinct to dam the creek.
It looks like the Beaver Stack has made it's way to Olbermann's show!
Thanks to Julie in Seattle for tipping me off to this clip from WDIV (The "Dive?") in Detroit.
I played the clip a few times at the end so you can savor the glory!!!

A master of her trade: Beaver skinner to be featured on TV show
Not many people are left in Kay Bachman’s profession. The rural Detroit Lakes woman has been skinning beaver for more than 40 years. And she’s very good at what she does.
Verrry Nice Beaver, Hat you've got there. Dig the Death's Head. chic
Literal-minded illustration I sent along to Mama with a Beaver Stack item she did on Tuesday.

A little more than 17 years ago, I was at the mall picking out a tuxedo for my brother's wedding. Which left my wife to wander through the mall.....
She found this tuxedo kitten and they immediately bonded. So he HAD to come home (so she said).
This was his first night in his new home. He didn't have a name yet, I think sometime during the night we were watching Gilligan's Island, so I started throwing out names like "Gilligan", which became "Little Buddy", then eventually Buddy. He ends the night all tuckered out in the lap of The Rabbit. ETA And I didn't realize until I uploaded this that we're all watching "Leave it to Beaver". Buddy seems to be getting into it.
My wife and I both got "tuxedos" that night. I miss him so much.
